Chapter 4

2.  Teachers can have a different student go over each cue as the teacher reads them off and explain each of them. This will help check to make sure that the class is listening to you as your teach and understand the lesson. Also at the end of the class they could have the class go over each cue and how it worked into the lesson.

Chapter 5

1. When developing a lesson you need to start off small and make the lesson grow. For example say you are teaching lacrosse, you can start with passing and catching and grow into more complex skills such as ground balls and running plays. It helps the students learn while advancing in the sport with knowledge.

3.  With Open skills you can make it as difficult as the class can handle. Also you can teach more advanced aspects of a game. With Closed skills, it is not as difficult on the students and you aren't teaching as advanced skills. This is more to see what type of skill level the students are at and how you will plan your next lesson.

5. For a closed skill you can assess the students based on skill level. For example if you are teaching lacrosse and what to assess:

Lacrosse Closed Skills: Catching/Throwing (Right and Left Handed) Ground Balls Shooting

For a open skill your can assess them with even more advanced skill sets and aspects such as:

Lacrosse Open Skills: Plays, Transition, Fast breaks, Offense and Defense

Wednesdays class was a successful one. We had alot of fun in the classroom as we wrapped up Lab B and are now beginning to work on Lab C. I am very excited to get another chance to teach again as I will be able to teach better then the last time.
Overall this lesson was not as successful as I wanted it to be. I was a little nervous at first but I was able to recover and finish the lesson strongly. Here is the video in which I taught I hope that you all enjoy.

Friday was not as successful as i thought it would be. I started off very strong, but i drew a blank in the order of my lesson and couldn't think for a little bit. I was able to recover and finish the lesson strongly. I was not happy with how it went and I know that I can do better. But this was a learning experience and I know that the next time I teach, I know that I will do much better.

Mondays class was a good class. We worked on our jump rope skills for our teaching that is coming up. We then went into the shotgun game in which everyone had a different part of a lesson and had to come up with their part in order to move onto the next one. This was helpful as you were able to see different ways to perform each part of a teaching lesson. On Wednesday we will begin with some of the class teaching their skill and I am very excited for when I teach which will be on Friday.
